Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born 4 August 1981, is an American actor. She is most famous for her performance in the film Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You as well as for her roles on the television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. Her appearances in the drama show Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless have made her an international star. Gulf Breeze native She began her professional career with soap opera All My Children. It was for her outstanding performance that she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award. She was a frequent guest during a number of years on television programs. She was recognized for her portrayal of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and impressive acting skills made her an ideal candidate for a loyal fan base. Her debut film came at about twenty when she was in Campfire Stones. Other films she has appeared in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. Her role as the lead character in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the TV show Timeless in which she portrayed her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was praised from critics about her performance in the sci-fi series Timeless. Spencer was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award.
