The British television science fiction series broadcast on BBC. Gugu had a massive success in this series, playing Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. The audience loved her cheerful spontaneity and there was there was no turning back for Gugu after a successful acting career ahead! The mother of Handler was a domestic worker Her father, on the other hand, worked as a used car dealer. Her mother emigrated from Germany to the United States as a young woman in the year 1958. Her diagnosis was breast carcinoma in 1989. Handler's dad is Jewish so she brought to Reform Judaism. Handler had a pleasant and healthy life in a good neighbourhood. When she was only 19, she decided to move in Los Angeles and pursue acting. To support her family, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler began to do stand-up as a full-time comedian when she was 21. Handler had realized that she was gifted with story telling. Handler began her stand-up career being a part of the all-female Oxygen team, and featured in a tv show named Girls Behaving BADLY. The series was famous for its hidden camera as well as practical joke. This show aired from 2002 to 2005. Handler went on to work in various other shows, including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler has also worked as an anchor for The Tonight Show. Handler received her first big break as she hosted her E! Show in 2006. called The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up show. She was named as host of the The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. The only female host of the VMAs after Roseanne Bar.
